Bocce can be used as a tool to bring the community together through friendly competition on the court. Cassidy Athletics helped curate an event to bring two bocce clubs together for an evening of competitive bocce modeled after the Ryder Cup.
With 16 players from each team, we set up a 4 game battle to determine the best on the beach. The four player teams split up into two groups and occupied one end of the court. Games would be the first team to 10 points. The winner of the event would be the best of 4. In the event of a tie breaker, we would play a one frame match between the two teams. Closest to the pallino determined winner.
It was an incredible night of community between two next-door beach clubs, providing memories that will last a lifetime.
